Organizations urged to sign child nutrition reauthorization “Statement of Principles”
The Child Nutrition Forum, a diverse group of national organizations that represent the following types of organizations: anti-hunger, religious, education, medical, nutrition, school, and food have joined together in support of a "Statement of Principles" to guide child nutrition reauthorization efforts. The Statement urges Congress to support increased funding for child nutrition reauthorization legislation to ensure program access by underserved children, enhance the nutritional quality of food served, provide adequate meal reimbursements, modernize technology and simplify program administration.
